Why She Decided Took Out SECOND MORTGAGE On Atlanta Mansion #Mediatakeout #CardiB #AtlantaMansion

Cardi B announced yesterday that she was divorcing her husband Offset. As Media take Out explained, at least one of Cardi’s friends believes that Cardi’s divorce was due – in part – to her husband Offset’s gambling.

Media Take Out confirmed that Offset frequently gambles – both with friends and with casinos. And he’s drops hundreds of thousands on a single sporting event. Sometimes he wins … and sometimes, it doesn’t go his way.

Media Take Out also did a bit of digging, and we found out some interesting news. Last December, which is around the time when Cardi claims that she and Offset separated, Cardi and her husband took out a second mortgage on their Atlanta home.

The couple bought the home in 2019, for $5M – and took out a loan for $3M on it. But last December, government records show that Cardi and Offset took out a second mortgage on the home – bringing the total amount owed on the home to more than $6.5 Million.

The Atlanta real estate market is going through a bit of a slump, and mansions in top areas are sellng at a significant discount these days.

Last week, there were reports that the couple was having trouble selling the home because it was “under water”, and that the home may end up in foreclosure. Well Cardi responded.

The Bronx rapper denied any money problems, and explained that the home is now worth $7 million (meaning that they still had equity in the house). Cardi also added that if she did sell the house, she’d sell it to Offset.

Cardi B also owns a New Jersey mansion – without her husband’s name on the deed – which she purchased in 2021 for $5.85 million. The 3,000-square-foot estate in ritzy Tenafly has nine bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a movie theater, a swimming pool and a tennis court.

That home only has a single million mortgage on it.
