UFC star Israel Adesanya has released a video of him reacting to Alexander Volkanovski’s loss to Ilia Topuria.
On Saturday night, Ilia Topuria became the new UFC featherweight champion. He did so by knocking out Alexander Volkanovski, fulfilling the prophecy he set out for himself. The Georgian-Spaniard looked calm, cool and collected as he overcame adversity to defeat ‘The Great’ and claim the title.
As you can imagine, his close family and friends were pretty heartbroken by the loss. It now serves as his third defeat in his last four fights, leaving many to wonder what the future holds for him at 35 years of age.
Someone who is particularly close to Volkanovski is none other than Israel Adesanya. The two have trained extensively with one another at City Kickboxing, carving out legacies for themselves as top stars in the UFC over the course of the last six years.
