Venna Links With Masego, Mick Jenkins On Dreamy Cut ‘Casa Lopez’

Venna has shared his new single ‘Casa Lopez’.

The lauded London based multi-instrumentalist is back, reaching out to two stellar talents in the process. Work is ongoing on the follow-up to his ‘VENOLOGY’ project, and the jazz-leaning auteur has broadened his scope considerably.

New track ‘Casa Lopez’ illustrates his artistic tenacity, and it finds Venna linking up alongside two stellar Stateside talents. Masego and Mick Jenkins know how to stretch, and they pull Venna’s art in different directions on this chilled, dreamy track.

Venna comments…

‘Casa Lopez’ is a special one for the project. Made the beat in my old studio in Hackney with Charlie Stacey when I first started making new ideas for the next body of work. I knew I needed someone crazy to bless the beat.

First trip to LA I linked up with the infamous Mick Jenkins and this was the first tune we made. Sat with the tune for a while & we both realised the record needed a different hook. On my second trip to LA I linked up with my brudda Masego and the rest was history. Got two artists that I’ve rocked with for a while on one record. Project soon land.
