Velvet Two Stripes are making their return with brand new single ‘Idaho’.
Made up of Franca Mock, Sophie and Sara Diggelmann, the trio have merged forces on a breezy track, tracing the band’s blues-tinged rock sound. Sporting warm acoustics, steady drums and an addictive hook, ‘Idaho’ is a love letter to the band’s time spent in Portland, reminiscent of memories and relationships made along the way.
The track inches towards the outfit’s upcoming album ‘No Spell For Moving Water’, set to release this autumn. Having spent the last 15 years together, Velvet Two Stripes continue to strengthen their collaborative relationship, championing the underground with every release.
Pairing gritty vocals with a more mellow production, ‘Idaho’ marks an exciting time for Velvet Two Stripes.
