The producer continues his fascinating journey…

Vegyn has shared new song ‘Makeshift Tourniquet’.
The producer is a vital voice within electronic music, both as a key collaborator and a staunchly original solo artist. Debut album ‘Only Diamonds Cut Diamonds’ was a remarkable introduction, while his 71 track mixtape (!) ‘Text While Driving If You Want to Meet God!’ was a feast of innovation.
Returning with the leviathan mixtape ‘Don’t Follow Me Because I’m Lost Too!!’ last year, Vegyn has now broken cover once more.
Returning to what he terms “conventional dance music”, ‘Makeshift Tourniquet’ contains some lush house aspects, spun in some vastly original patterns. Emerging almost fully formed during one session, Vegyn previewed the song during his club shows.
Out now via his own PLZ Make It Ruins label, Vegyn comments:
“It’s been some time since I delved into more conventional dance music and ‘Makeshift Tourniquet’ seems to be a fairly natural arrival at said genre. The track came to fruition after some light tinkering with a unique combination of new studio hardware. I’m not sure what it is about syncopation but it’s always been the key to get people moving with my songs. Lots of people have been enjoying this one at my club shows this year, so I’m excited to see the indoor fans get to listen to it too.”
Tune in now.
