Swedish singer-songwriter and producer Ulrika Berg has shared her latest single, ‘Do You Want It’.

A smooth and sensual entry point to the rising force, ‘Do You Want It’ makes for the lead single of Berg’s self-titled debut album. The track adopts a minimal yet groove-inducing production, defined by its rich basslines and vibrant guitar strums. Berg’s airy vocals are equally charming in their delivery, complimenting the track’s deeper sonics.

Based in West London, Ulrika Berg first stepped into the limelight last year with her debut single ‘Stay Queen’, a whole hearted, saccharine nod towards the impact of pop music. 

Since then, the artist has shared her debut album which centres itself around a broad array of melodies and warming textures, focussing on themes of love and empowerment. The tracklist invites the collaborative efforts of producer Freemonk and writer David Gerrish who fine-tune the project into something that feels mature and polished.we

Detailing her creative ambitions, Berg adds: “I wanted the album to be all about melodies – playful, sweet, soulful and catchy along with warm harmony patterns. The lyrics were inspired by the good and bad kind of love, memories, lust and hope layered over basslines, groove and guitar. I feel colours and seasons when I write music, and this album is summer to me – like a warm breeze in the morning, wind in my hair, feel the ocean on my skin.”
