Nemzzz has a unique ability to connect with his audience. A rapper who speaks his truth, the Manchester artist’s relentless honesty cuts through the noise, engendering an incredible link with his fans.
Case in point? Nemzzz started teasing his new song weeks back, initially labelling it ‘GIF’ during those initial TikTok posts. Leaving fans breathless for more, he even held a poll to decide the song’s final name.
After fans overwhelmingly voted for it to be labelled ‘W2L’ it crashed on to streaming services at midnight last night – and the response has been emphatic.
A super-catchy UK rap roller, Nemzzz leans on his Mancunian roots, throwing in slang to keep listeners on their toes. A real statement, ‘W2L’ continually switches it up, with the rapper hitting different flows, pushing the beat to different places.
Blessed with real musicality, his voice interweaves around the pin-point production from SAIONTHEBEAT. Ben Stancombe directs the video, splicing together fly-on-the-wall footage from Nemzzz’ recent trip to LA with scenes shot from inside a microwave.
