Iron Maiden’s legendary World Slavery tour saw the band perform 189 concerts over 331 days. Not only was the tour long, but it was a massive spectacle. With props like sarcophagi, a 30-foot mumified Eddie, and tons of pyrotechnics. Oh, how Joe longs to have been there.
That’s the topic for today’s Side Three video: the tours that we wish we could have seen. Many of these shows we missed out on becuase, well…we were either small children or not yet born. Immediately springing to mind are iconic performance by Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, and more.
What shows do you regret never getting a chance to see in person? And which shows were you amazingly lucky to see? When did you feel that you were witnessing history before your very eyes? Go ahead…it’s okay to gloat.
