The first three Tomb Raider games are coming to console and PC in early 2024 with upgraded visuals in one package. Tomb Raider I, II, III Remaster, as it’s called, was announced for Nintendo Switch during the September Nintendo Direct, but the game is actually also coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.

Crystal Dynamics and Aspyr are working on the game, which is set for launch on February 14, 2024. The games have upgraded visuals and players can toggle between original polygonal graphics and updated visuals with the push of a button.

The first three Tomb Raider games were released within a three-year time period. The original Tomb Raider was released in 1996, with Tomb Raider II launching the next year and Tomb Raider III coming out a year later.

A reboot trilogy debuted in 2013 and continued with 2015’s Rise of the Tomb Raider and 2018’s Shadow of the Tomb Raider. A new Tomb Raider game now in development at Crystal Dynamics, with Amazon set to publish it.

In other Tomb Raider news, Lara Croft recently came to Call of Duty with a new design. Whether or not this is what the character will look like in the next Tomb Raider game is unknown.

There’s no release announced for the new Tomb Raider game. Beyond games, Netflix is producing a Tomb Raider animated series, with Hayley Atwell voicing Lara.
