TMZ has filed an emergency motion to prevent a former employee from testifying in the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard defamation case, Yahoo News reported.
The organization asked a judge to block Morgan Tremaine from being called as a witness by Depp’s legal team based on ‘journalist’s privilege’, according to court papers.
The motion details a concern by TMZ that relates to an article it published on August 12, 2016, ‘Johnny Depp Goes Off On Amber…Smashes Wine Glass, Bottle.’
