Birmingham risers The Silver Lines return with a bold four-track EP.
The emerging indie force take the jagged edges of post-punk but add something anthemic, and often unashamedly melodic. A superb live force, The Silver Lines have developed a close partnership with producer David Radahd-Jones (formerly of the band Heaven’s Basement).
Entering the studio earlier this year, The Silver Lines constructed the four songs that make up their new EP. Unapologetic in tone, the band work with alacrity, adding a sense of weight and purpose to the work the four-piece create together.
Out now, the EP is peppered with highlights, including recent single ‘Cocaine’ and the clipped ‘Water Yourself Boy’.
The new EP comes as The Silver Lines prepare to head off on tour – catch them at London’s Old Blue Last on September 18th, before a hometown show at Birmingham’s O2 Institute3.
