Coca cola was a very popular drink in India Till 1977, after which Coke exited from India, and a new cold drink captured the market, called Campa Cola. This cola soon became very popular, but when Coke re entered again in India in 1993, it invested heavily in marketing and supply chain, and forced campa cola into bankruptcy. In 2022, Reliance bought the brand of campa cola and relaunched it.
