London-rooted multi-hyphenate tendai has shared new song ‘My World’.
The artist works from a warehouse space studio, a post-industrial location on the environs of North East London. tendai’s music has a curious cross-genre quality, with the producer pushing his world-building tendencies to the fore.
Returning to The Raido Room – as he calls his studio – new single ‘My World’ underwent all manner of revisions before it eventually clicked into place.
Out now, it offers opaque soul and fragmentary electronics, somehow hanging together in one place through the strength of tendai’s artistry.
The 24-year-old comments…
“My world came together so naturally but patiently. I believed in the song from the start. It went through a few changes but found its home at the raido room in march, and got finished by a few musician friends of mine. A song about missing / losing a lover.”
