Singer arrived at her second public Kansas City Chiefs game — against the New York Jets at the MetLife Stadium on Sunday — alongside Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, and Sophie Turner
Taylor Swift is officially the cheer captain dating the boy on the football team (yes, we are combining lyrics from two songs here, but it really writes itself, OK?).
The singer was once again spotted supporting NFL star Travis Kelce amid ongoing romance rumors between the pair as she attended the Kansas City Chiefs game against the New York Jets at the MetLife Stadium on Sunday. All eyes were on Swift as she arrived with some celebrity friends, including Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, and Sophie Turner. Her squad also included Sabrina Carpenter during Swift’s second public game supporting Kelce.
She also had more hang time with Kelce’s mother, Donna.
But while the gathering appeared like ideal Swiftie squad goals — hanging out on a Sunday night with friends to cheer on the person she is (likely) dating, not everyone was excited for yet another game that wasn’t fully focused on the field. Some football fans pleaded on X, formerly Twitter, for broadcasters to stop talking about Swift and keep the conversation and cameras completely on football.
Sunday night marks the second game Swift has attended in support of Kelce since rumors that they were dating began circulating earlier this summer. After Swifties and football lovers lost their damn minds at the mere sight of the singer sitting in Kelce’s suite, the Chiefs’ tight end went on his podcast New Heights to kinda-sorta discuss the budding romance.
“Shout out to Taylor for pulling up. That was pretty ballsy,” Kelce said. “Everybody in the suite had nice things to say about her — the friends and family. She looked amazing. Everybody was talking about her in a great light. The day went perfect — for Chiefs fans. It was impressive.”
He quickly wrapped up the discussion of Swift, noting that he’s well aware he brought this attention on himself when he publicly decided to “shoot his shot” with the singer after a failed attempt at giving her his number via a friendship bracelet while attending her Eras tour over the summer. He drew a line in the sand for future discussion of the topic on his podcast and others he often guests on during the football season.
“I know I brought all this attention to me. What’s real is that it’s my personal life,” he said. “I want to respect both of our lives. She is not in the media as much as I am doing this show every week. I am enjoying life. I sure as hell enjoyed this weekend. Everything moving forward — me talking about sports is where I’ll have to keep it.”

But if Swift becomes a regular at his games, the team might need to invest in some additional merch: Travis’ jersey sales have already skyrocketed 400 percent in recent weeks.
This is a developing story…
