After a triumphant comeback year, Sugababes are thanking fans with the release of a special archived collection, ‘The Lost Tapes’.

More than appealing to a sense of 90s pop nostalgia, there is real credible demand for the core original trio – Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhán Donaghy – no more evident than with the group celebrating a sold-out UK tour earlier this year.

‘The Lost Tapes’ had been planned under the MKS moniker but was never released, until now. The special collection features finished versions of songs, some of which were previously leaked as demos. Having written the album along with a host of prolific talent (including MNEK, Dev Hynes and Sia) the group worked together post-tour to release this long-awaited album.

“This has been a year of incredibly positive moments for us as a band. We wanted to do something to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey. We wrote this album almost 8 years ago and remember the magic we felt at the time. For various reasons beyond our control it didn’t get an official release, so it’s with great pride that The Lost Tapes gets a fully independent release from us today. Available now on all streaming platforms. A very Merry Christmas, love Sugababes x”
