If you missed watching Miles go toe-to-toe with every Spider-Person in the multiverse on the big screen, don’t worry because Sony’s Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is returning to IMAX theaters on January 19.

On X/Twitter, Spider-Verse writer and producer Christopher Miller wrote that fans of the movie will be able to watch it again in theaters. The tweet reads:

“If you didn’t get a chance to catch ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE on the big screen – where you can see the jaw-dropping level of detail & innovation lovingly put into every frame – you’ve got another chance! It’s returning to IMAX for a limited release on January 19. Don’t miss it!”

Across The Spider-Verse came out during the summer of last year, and upon its release, it earned $16 million in Thursday previews which made it the second-best start in animated in film history. Though the movie was well-received, it’s also important to mention that there were reports that working conditions for the film were chaotic.

Roughly 100 artists had left the project due to constant changes being made. It was common for the crew to work 11-hour days seven days a week to ensure the movie was ready for release.

Be sure to read our Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse review, where Phil Owen wrote: “Across the Spider-Verse is a visual feast unlike anything I’ve ever seen before in a movie theater. It’s transcendent, really. Maybe, for this film, that’s all that will end up mattering.”
