SPEED Unleash New Album ‘ONLY ONE MODE’

Australian group SPEED have shared their new album ‘ONLY ONE MODE’.

The band’s heroic live shows are the stuff of legend, making them names to drop in the hardcore world. Already granted legendary status in Australia, the close-knit global hardcore scene has been electrified by releases such as 2022 EP ‘Gang Called Speed’.

Out now, ‘ONLY ONE MODE’ is a taut, 10-track document of hardcore progression; SPEED remain tethered to the sound’s bedrock, but stretch ever-outward, introducing some bracing new ideas in the process.

Produced by Elliott Gallart, it’s a record that ripples with energy and uncompromising ideas. A testimony to the community they’ve built around them, the cover photograph was taken by James Hartley – famed for documenting Australian hardcore from the 2000s, the era SPEED grew up around.
