Sour Ops are bouncing back with their latest album ‘Evangeline’.

A gritty take on 60s garage pop, the Nashville outfit are stepping into a new direction. Brought together in their home studio Silver Space, the record evokes the charismatic edge that defines Oasis and The Kinks, with nostalgia-fuelled American proto punk. The overarching sound is captured on the title track ‘Evangeline’, balancing rough acoustics and vocal melodies, making for a magnetic listen from beginning to end.

Following the release of their 2018 debut album ‘Family Circuit and 2021 collection ‘Deep Fake‘, Sour Ops continue to solidify their winning formula. Spearheaded by the multi-disciplinarian Price Jarrison, the guitarist, songwriter, producer, architect and photographer approaches his work with a rich, creative intuition.

In turn, ‘Evangeline’ reveals some of the band’s most ambitious work to date, asserting their strengths with each track.
