SEAROWS Shares New Song ‘martingale’

SEAROWS has shared new song ‘martingale’.

The songwriter is based in the Pacific North West, and those landscapes linger behind his independently released album ‘Guard Dog’. Critically lauded, it’s become a sleeper hit, with SEAROWS managing to make a quiet but assured impression on both sides of the Atlantic.

Hitting the UK next month, SEAROWS will play two shows at London’s Village Underground – on September 12th and 13th – as part of a broader European run.

New single ‘martingale’ is out now, and it was road tested on TikTok. Initially two distinct snippets, SEAROWS suddenly came to realise that the parts should be blended, and become one whole song.

Working with producer Jonathan Pearce (The Beths), it taps into SEAROWS empathetic streak while also embracing his passion for melody.

“I began writing Martingale in 2022 while contemplating the traits and ways of being that we inherit from our families and the people closest to us. This song was initially two different unfinished songs I’d posted on TikTok about a year apart from each other, and it wasn’t until a few months ago that I realised they were meant to be one song. I decided to fully flesh it out, record it in a studio and give it a home in my upcoming project.“
