Sarah Kingsley Shares Cinematic Single, ‘Realms’

Sarah Kingsley is bouncing back with brand new single ‘Realms’, released via Verve Forecast/Decca.

Plucked from her forthcoming debut album ‘Escaper’, the NYC musician creates a sound full of movement and vim, unpacking themes of romance, friendships, grief and dynamics. Across, the artist is drawn towards the craft of world-building, utilising her music as a cinematic backdrop to her universal experiences. ‘Realms’ is no different, a vibrant offering that pin-drops the listener into the action, piecing together an elevated instrumentation with indie-pop sensibilities.

Set to release on September 6th, ‘Escaper’ marks a definitive step for Kingsley, reflecting on her formative background in classical music. Lending her focus to the live experience, the artist will set off on a headline tour across North America, Europe and the UK, road-testing her new material along the way.

Speaking on her latest release, Kingsley shares: “Realms is a question of all the infinite possibilities of alternate universes and parallel planes. In another world maybe I’m not a musician, maybe I’m a dentist, a graduate student, a barista, a child, a memory, an experience, a thing that never occurred, a person that never was! These are unknown eternities of who we might be in some other realm.”
