Samira Shares Lavish ‘See Through You’ Visual

Alt-pop force Samira has shared the full video for new single ‘See Through You’.

The songwriter mad her debut in January, stepping forwards with debut EP ‘Dancefloors & Drama Vol. 1’ as an introductory statement. Devoutly future-facing, Samira blends electronic tones to craft something utterly true to her own vision.

Taking time out to focus on her next step, new single ‘See Through You’ was born from a studio partnership with PALMR.

The two work perfectly in-sync, utilising liquid DNB elements but merging this with Samira’s potent pop songwriting.

Out now, it’s a self-confessed “change of pace” from this emerging force, but one that underlines her creative vitality.

The visual utilises aspects of light and shade, daring to look behind the party veneer at the trauma that lies just out of view. Samira comments…

‘See Through You’ is one of my favourite tracks from this new era of music I’m starting to release. The song comes from a really honest place. I wrote it after watching my closest friends on some really messy nights out, and you know, sometimes it can look like someone is having the best time, going wild and just letting go… I get it! We all need it.

But I also wanted to show the other side of it in this short film. What’s the life and soul of the party like when the party’s over and they’re all alone behind closed doors? It’s a reminder to look out for your friends. If they’re partying too hard or you notice they haven’t really been themselves, check in on them.
