Nice Swan Records have shared a new label sampler.
The imprint was founded in 2016 by North West duo Pete Heywoode and Alex Edwards, and they’ve become one of the go-to launching pads for new British music. A talent incubator with a community-minded outlook, Nice Swan has risen to become a by-word in quality.
CLASH profiled the label back in 2022, and we’ve followed their rise every since. New compilation ‘Nice Swan Introduces Volume 2’ is out now, and it’s an essential recap of their latest squad of ultra-talented risers.
Coming ahead of special Nice Swan showcase events at Brighton’s The Great Escape Festival and Live at Leeds In The City over the coming months, the sampler boasts material from CLASH favourites such as Prima Queen, the mighty Deadletter, and hotly-tipped name Chalk.
cowboyy takes a starring role on the compilation, joined by Saloon Dion, splint, Yabba, Avice Caro, and Human Interest.
The new compilation follows Volume 1 in 2021, which boasted material from English Teacher, SPRINTS, Courting and Opus Kink.
