The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi over the weekend replied the recent comments by his opponent in the All Progressives Congress Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who during a campaign rally in Ondo state tagged Obi as Mr. Stingy, also alleging that the former Anambra state governor watched his people suffer while saving the state’s funds rather than save the people.
Peter Obi in response stressed that no one could fault him for refusing to steal public funds and no one has ever accused him of corruption.
In the meantime, Tinubu during a town hall the meeting hosted by the governor of Kogi state Yahaya Bello for young people, displayed his youthfulness by dancing to Kizz Daniel’s hit song, ‘Buga’.
Finally, There is growing apprehension among many Nigerians who believe that their voting rights have been trampled upon and as such will be disenfranchised by the Independent National Electoral Commission as many are yet to receive their permanent voter cards from the commission. In edo state citizens staged a protest blocking a major a highway demanding for their right to vote.
