A period should end a sentence, not a girl’s education. That’s the motto of a non-profit called “The Pad Project” — founded by high school students in Los Angeles who wanted to end the stigma of menstruation in other parts of the world. Their story is featured in an Oscar-nominated documentary called, “Period. End of Sentence.” Director and producer Rayka Zehtabchi and Oakwood High School student Mason Maxam joined CNN for an interview with Rosemary Church.
