It’s an absolute club weapon…

Nia Archives has shared new jungle roller ‘Off Wiv Ya Headz’.

The track was built for her stellar Warehouse Project show last Hallowe’en, and has since become a key part of her set. Demolishing crowds at Primavera, We Love Green, and Bristol’s own Love Saves The Day, it dips into the breakbeat playbook while adding something new.

The track is rooted in A-Trak’s epic remix of Yeah Yeah Yeah’s indie blaster ‘Heads Will Roll’, which looped Karen O’s vocal around a stellar DNB arrangement. Building outwards, Nia Archives removes the rhythmic engine, constructing her own junglist take.

An absolute fire-starter tailor-made for festival season, Nia Archives comments…

“I wanted to make a spooky edit for Warehouse Project last Halloween and this is what I came up. I love the a-trak remix and I just wanted a jungle version of it.”

The video for ‘Off Wiv Ya Headz’ was shot by Nia herself, utilising VHS tour camera footage – tap in below.
