muva of Earth will release her debut EP ‘Align With Nature’s Intelligence’ on September 15th.

The artist was raised by Nigerian parents, and is currently based in London. Her jazz-parallel songwriting has caught no small degree of attention, infusing her work with an extraordinary degree of feeling.

Worth aligning to everyone from fellow harpist Alice Coltrane to modern hyphenates such as Yves Tumor, muva of Earth has a quite singular approach, and the results are striking.

With debut EP ‘Align With Nature’s Intelligence’ slated to land on September 15th, this perpetual creative has just shared ‘heaven hear me above’. Jazz meets soul, there’s an inherently classic appeal to muva of Earth’s art, aligned to a questing spirit.

Grappling with the unknown, the flecks of harp that adorn ‘heaven hear me above’ have a uniquely picturesque quality. Discussing the song, she says:

‘I wrote this song about what it means to be proud of what makes you unique,

A statement to the heavenly realms asking for understanding.

I may have hurt you in the past but I didn’t mean to,

I tried my best with the experience that i have,

Know my intentions are pure and that I am learning.

Love’

Tune in now.
