PASIFIC PALISADES, CALOIFORNIA – Matthew Perry, famous for his comedic acting work on the hit television show “Friends,” died today in a hot tub at his Pacific Palisades home. He was 54.
TMZ reported that first-responders arrived at the scene on Saturday on
a call regarding a cardiac arrest, and said that the actor apparently might
have drowned. Citing sources, the website said that there were no drugs located at the scene and there was no evidence of foul play.
Perry’s cause of death was not immediately known. An investigation was
underway.
Police responded to a call at 4:10 p.m. to a residence in the 18000
block of Blue Sail Drive, just northwest of The Getty Villa, of a death investigation of a male in his 50s, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Drake Madison confirmed to City News Service. (CNS)
