Marcus Mumford, Anna Calvi, and Hozier will unite for a special Turkey + Syria charity fundraiser in London next month.
The one off show takes place at the Royal Albert Hall on April 15th, with the historic venue set to welcome a raft of special guests. All funds from the show will go to War Child and Turkey Mozaik Foundation, and the initial names on the bill have been confirmed.
Marcus Mumford will perform at the event, joined by Mercury nominee Anna Calvi, and internationally successful Irish songwriter Hozier.
Elsewhere, you’ll find guest spots from Dermot Kennedy, the wonderful Nilüfer Yanya and former Clash cover star James Bay.
On a non-music tip, the audience will also welcome turns from Olivia Colman, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Omid Djalili, while the Royal Albert Hall is set to resound from an exclusive live performance from Solidarity Ensemble – a newly formed group comprising musicians from Turkey and Syria.
Tickets go on sale from 10:00am on Friday 17th March via https://www.royalalberthall.com/ or https://www.communionmusic.co.uk/, priced from £45, with all proceeds going to War Child and the Turkey Mozaik Foundation’s response to the Turkey and Syria earthquakes.
