Manga Saint Hilare has shared new single ‘Together’.
The grime figure has evolved from his Roll Deep roots, with recent work tackling difficult subjects such as mental health, addiction, and learning to take care of yourself.
New album ‘Run For Your Life’ lands on November 18th, with Manga curating a slew of stellar guests, some of whom stand as pioneers in grime and UK rap more generally.
Take new single ‘Together’. The heavyweight production sits at 140, the crunching industrial sounds of grime given a spartan swagger. Jme is on the buttons, while the inimitable D Double E adds some guest bars.
“We’re all in this ting together,” Manga laments. It ties in to the project’s wider meaning, “a reminder to keep moving because forward is the only way to survive. Run towards your goals, move on from things that are holding you back.”
