One person was shot and killed in Ballantyne on Tuesday morning, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police said.
Multiple agencies responded to a reported to a welfare check call at an apartment complex on Wynhollow Downs Lane, which is near the intersection of Ballantyne Commons Parkway and Lancaster Highway, around 8 a.m.
