Little Simz has launched new album ‘No Thank You’.
The rapper’s 2021 album ‘Sometimes I Might Be Introvert’ bowled over all in its path, scooping its maker a BRIT Award, and the Mercury Prize. Steaming into fresh challenges, Little Simz has now confirmed plans for a follow-up.
‘No Thank You’ is available to pre-order now, the announcement backed with a short clip layered in aphorisms. Little Simz writes:
emotion is energy in motion
honour your truth and feelings
eradicate fear
boundaries are important
— Little Simz (@LittleSimz) December 6, 2022
So, what will it sound like? Collaborator Inflo has been kept busy of late, sharing five full length albums through his Sault project.
Simz has remained tight-lipped about her future plans, but she did sit down with Rolling Stone UK for a cover feature last month. This quote stands out: “What I want is to do projects that I’m moved by, that I’m inspired by; that challenge me. I just want to do things that I enjoy, man. I think life’s too short.”
You can pre-order the album online now.
