The Grammy award winning rapper will create the debut collection for Lanvin Lab.
Lanvin introduces Lanvin Lab, born of the brand’s desire to collaborate with a broader pool of cultural visionaries, this exercise presents the French couturier with the opportunity to explore limitless creativity. It will take the form of collabroative capsules alongside seasonal collections, and the first guest-creative director has been announced as Future.
The first Lanvin Lab collection will be focused on music, Jeanne Lanvin’s daughter and muse, Marguerite, was an accomplished musician, and the medium has widely inspired the house’s mythology.
For the first collection, Future will design a capsule celebrating the ways that music and fashion intersect at the house of Lanvin. An apt choice for the brand, Future’s artistic influence extends far beyond his music through fashion, entertainment and culture.
The brand announced they are “delighted” to partner with Future for the debut Lanvin Lab collection. “ innovation and originality have reshaped the worlds of music and entertainment”, the brand tells us in a statement today.
Future’s Lanvin Lab collection is due for release this Autumn and will include ready-to-wear and accessories for both men and women.
