Lewis Roberts aka Koreless will unveil a new EP, ‘Deceltica’, on August 16th via Young.
The Welsh producer’s new transitional project is his first in two years, and includes the eerie two-step banger ‘Seven’, a remix of the aforementioned track by fellow Welsh producer and friend Jorg Kuning, an extended version called ‘Drumhell’ (which first appeared on HAAi’s DJ-Kicks compilation), and the title track ‘Deceltica’.
‘Deceltica’ follows Roberts’ acclaimed full-length, ‘Agor’, released in 2021. Koreless found himself in a creatively fertile space as he moved to the rural countryside in Wales from London. Embracing this fresh perspective and his Arcadian surroundings, Koreless began experimenting with new chords, beats, and instruments, leading to the creation of the four-track EP.
Beyond music, Koreless has remained active through several notable collaborations. He composed an original score for Thomas Hardiman’s murder mystery film, MEDUSA DELUXE. Additionally, Koreless continues his longstanding partnership with FKA twigs, producing on her masterworks, ‘MAGDALENE‘ and ‘CAPRISONGS‘. During her recent Vogue cover interview, twigs described Koreless as the “guiding light” on her forthcoming album.
