UK hip-hop artist Knucks has shared the first part of his new ‘Knuckles’ documentary.
It’s been an incredible year for the rapper, whose album ‘ALPHA PLACE’ became a massive word of mouth success. A moment for fans to appreciate his artistry, it rushed up the charts and sparked some stellar live shows.
Clash named ‘ALPHA PLACE’ in its Top 10 Albums of 2022, with Knucks confirming plans for one more creative endeavour before the year comes to a close.
Working with YouTube, he’s built a brand new documentary. Knucks threw ideas around with co-director Alfie Barker, who comments: “I wanted to use his music / lyrics as a script for the project and we didn’t want to make a traditional rap / doc or music short film.”
Fellow Lauren Luxenberg adds: “working with Knucks has been an absolute dream. He’s a complete visionary and incredibly considered with everything he feeds back and the ideas he communicates. He’s got a real eye for film and his storytelling nature really lent itself well to the film and narrative.”
