The 12-track offering is the sequel to 2022’s Slut Pop
Meet Slut Pop‘s new sibling: Slut Pop Miami.
On Valentine’s Day, Kim Petras released the follow-up EP to her 2022 Slut Pop, with equally-slutty and even-sexier songs from the original project. The project — which a press release said was “inspired by hedonistic trips to Miami” — encompasses 12 tracks including the aptly named “Slut Pop Reprise,” “Banana Boat,” and “Head Head Honcho.”
Petras teased the EP last week with a video of herself on the beach, where she removes a pink top to show her in a bikini. “These bitches can’t suck like me,” she sings, before the sound of moans soundtrack the video which sees Petras’ breasts enlarging until they explode. Petras is then shown on screen after making a snorting sound as she says the project’s name: “Slut Pop Miami.”
The collection of tracks comes several months after Petras surprise-released her album Problématique, filled with songs from the vault, including “All She Wants” with Paris Hilton and “Je T’Adore.”
“It was shocking when I found out part of the album leaked — at the time — that it wasn’t ever going to come out, especially as I poured so much of myself into it,” Petras said in a statement via the Associated Press. “I was heartbroken but, at the same time, it was really exciting to see my fans listening to the tracks and loving them.”
She previously released album Feed the Beast, featuring songs “Alone” with Nicki Minaj, “King of Hearts,” and “Unholy” with Sam Smith as a bonus track. The 2022 EP, featured songs such as “Treat Me Like a Slut,” “They Wanna Fuck,” and “Threat Goat.”
In August, Petras set off on her Feed the Beast World Tour before making her way across the U.S. with stops in Boston, New York City, Los Angeles, Phoenix, and San Diego.
