Palmer alleged that Jackson trespassed into her home, threatened, and physically attacked her this past weekend
Keke Palmer is requesting sole custody of her 8-month-old son Leodis, whom she shares with former partner Darius Jackson, and is accusing Jackson of emotional and physical abuse in a restraining order filed Thursday in Los Angeles.
Palmer alleges that Jackson has abused her multiple times over the past two years, and most recently over the weekend, according to documents reviewed by People. The actress stated that on Sunday, “Darius trespassed into my home without my knowledge or consent, threatened me, then physically attacked me — lunging for my neck, striking me, throwing me over the couch, and stealing my phone when I told him I was going to call the police.”
As evidence, she provided video stills of what appeared to be security footage of a man striking a woman over a sofa. According to US Weekly, the court documents state that police arrived before Jackson left her home and encouraged Palmer to file for a domestic violence restraining order.
She has requested Jackson stay at least 100 yards away and does not want him to be granted visitation rights, per the filing; Palmer is not asking for child support.
“It is because of our son, Leo, that I was finally able to end my relationship with Darius onceand for all and escape the abuse,” Palmer stated in a declaration. “Leo is the most important thing in the entire world to me; he needs and deserves to be safe and grow up in an environment free from violence.”

In July, Palmer and Jackson’s briefly set a sector of the internet ablaze when Jackson, her then-boyfriend, tweeted to complain about a sheer dress and black bodysuit she wore while attending Usher’s Las Vegas residency show. “It’s the outfit tho.. you a mom,” he wrote about Palmer.
The following month, Palmer embraced not only being a mom but a new era of her life — and starred in the music video for “Boyfriend,” a new single from Usher himself.
