The song comes off the BTS member’s recent solo LP, Golden

BTSJung Kook has unveiled a collaborative performance video with Usher for their remix of single “Standing Next to You.” In the stylized clip, the pair team up for an impressively choreographed performance alongside a group of dancers.

The duo previously teased the video with a TikTok clip where the two rendez-vous in a warehouse and break out into synchronized choreography when Usher’s 2004 single “Yeah!” starts playing. Jung Kook added the hashtag #StayTuned to the post, hinting at more to come.

Jung Kook has dropped his remix of recent single “Standing Next to You” featuring Usher earlier this month. The new version of the hit single sees the pair sharing vocals as a duet.

“Standing Next to You” is one of 11 tracks in Jung Kook’s debut solo album Golden, which already includes the likes of Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes, and Major Lazer as songwriters and producers. The album, which was released earlier this month, also features Latto in “Seven,” Jack Harlow in “3D,” Major Lazer in “Closer to You,” and DJ Snake in “Please Don’t Change.” Like “Standing Next to You,” “3D” has a remix of its own featuring Justin Timberlake.

Last week, the singer shared a video for the song “Hate You.” The video pairs the ballad — co-written by Shawn Mendes — with an equally solemn visual where Jung Kook recites the lyrics alone while overlooking a cityscape.

In November, the singer shared an update on his military enlistment in a note to Army, saying he was ready to “start a new journey.” It was later revealed that he would enlist alongside fellow BTS member Jimin.

“As I share this news, I feel heavy on one hand, and on the other hand, I’m reminded of precious memories with ARMY, so my heart warms up,” he wrote. “Every moment I’ve spent with you has been the brightest time of my life. ARMY’s laughter, support, and love led me to this point. Thank you so much for supporting my dream and walking with me silently.”
