This Sunday July 2nd, fast-rising London dance collective Joy Anonymous will be performing a very special DJ set with Clash & Save Our Scene in tow live from a barge in East London.
Following on from Rudimental’s glorious recent pop-up on the very same barge, tomorrow’s event will see Joy Anonymous performing live from the waterfront in Hackney Wick. Running from 5pm – 10pm approximately and is free for all comers to attend.
The group are a phenomenal live outfit, and recently made their NYC debut. Smashing the Big Apple to pieces, Joy Anonymous secured a road-block crowd and left breathless plaudits in their wake.
Returning to London for a triumphant in-the-round headline show at EartH Hackney in May the collective are still riding the wave of their ‘Joy (404)’ single release. Their heady secret set at Glastonbury was one for the annals and this weekend presents another opportunity to catch them out in the wild.
Expect more special signature edits and dubby house scenes, veering from jungle-leaning beats to lush synth textures with scattergun vocals that all resolve into something soulful and soothing.
Prime yourself for tomorrow’s fun and games on the water with a free download of Joy Anonymous infectious Simply Red ‘Fairground’ edit via their Bandcamp HERE.
Look out for news on the exact location for tomorrows free party via Joy Anonymous instagram stories HERE, the location will be announced at 12pm tomorrow. Here is a snippet of Rudimental live from the barge in Hackney Wick a few weekends ago to whet your appetite.
