Jake Paul is aware of Ryan Garcia’s recent rant aimed at him, and he’s responded.
Paul was in action last night in Puerto Rico against Ryan Bourland, scoring a first-round TKO finish to improve his pro boxing record to 9=1. After the fight, Paul slammed Nate Diaz and accused him of “ducking” an MMA fight. He also called out undisputed super middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez.
After Paul’s victory, Garcia blasted “The Problem Child” in a voice message on X (h/t MMAFighting).
“I can’t do this s***,” Garcia said in a follow-up voice message posted on X. “I feel so f****** bad for introducing Jake Paul to boxing. I f***** up. I can’t allow this to happen. I can’t. I can’t. He’s disrespecting my sport. He’s disrespecting everything. I just, I don’t know — call my team, Jake. F*** you.”

Jake Paul Responds To Ryan Garcia
During the post-fight press conference following his quick finish over Bourland, Jake Paul was asked about the rant from Ryan Garcia, who is scheduled to fight Devin Haney on April 20. “The Problem Child” poured gasoline on the fire (h/t MMAFighting).
“Ryan, I love you. You know that, bro. But you’ve got to chill out,” Paul said, “because there’s a line and you just seem like you’re losing your mind, and acting thirsty and desperate and saying you’re a billionaire when you had one money fight. I’m just saying, just chill, bro. But if you do want to fight, that’s, to me, light work. You’ve got no footwork. And as long as you’ve been in the game, I’m a better boxer than you.”
We’ll see if anything transpires, but some within the boxing community have expressed concern with “KingRy’s” behavior ever since his fight with Haney was announced.
