The all-star team up places two of the best rappers in the UK on one track; teased for weeks on socials, it’s finally landed with an apocalyptic crash on streaming.

Out now, the slinky guitar line permeates a spartan beat that sits somewhere between drill and broader UK rap flavours. Less-is-more is the name of the game, allowing two of the most technically gifted MCs in the lane to do their thing.

‘Sprinter’ is an immediate fan favourite, particularly once you check out the full video – a ‘luxe affair shot in the South of France and London, utilising an appearance from Nigerian-born artist Slawn.

The new single opens Dave’s account for 2023, and follows his stellar single ‘Starlight’ and raw freestyle ‘My 24th Birthday’. Cench meanwhile, is cresting a wave of success – his ’23’ mixtape sent records tumbling, while single ‘Doja’ became a breakout moment.
