He’s fresh from some key support dates…

24 · 06 · 2024

Isaac Gracie has shared his new single ‘lullaby’.

The songwriter’s extraordinary 2018 debut album won critical acclaim, but since then he’s taken a step back to recalibrate. Breaking cover with key support slots alongside elbow and James Vincent McMorrow, Isaac is now back with something new.

Out now, ‘lullaby’ is – as the title describes – something gentle and delicate, while also containing remarkable inner strength. In Isaac’s words, it’s a “big, fat emotive” piece of songwriting, and seems designed to be heard in wide open spaces.

Sculpted in Los Angeles alongside Joel Little (Lorde) in his Hollywood Hills apartment, it’s impeccably designed – low-key dazzling, it’s a neat entrance point into his new era.

Isaac Gracie comments…

‘Lullaby’ came from a really successful trip to LA. Joel Little, who I wrote the song with, had to catch a last-minute flight, so our time together was pretty fleeting. We had a little under four hours together, and found ourselves chatting for much of it. ‘Lullaby’ came out of that brief time in his incredible apartment up in the Hollywood Hills.

I think there’s definitely space in the world for big, fat emotive songs. I love emotive ballads that swing for the fences, and ‘Lullaby’ feels like one of those. It’s what I enjoy so much about bands like Coldplay and elbow.

Tune in now.
