The 2023 NBA season opens with a double-header featuring four Western Conference powerhouses on Tuesday. The rest of the league begins play on Wednesday.

The opening game has LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers taking on Nikola Jokić and the NBA champion Denver Nuggets at Ball Arena in Denver, with tip-off at 4:30 p.m. PT/7:30 p.m. ET. In the second game, the Kevin Durant-led Phoenix Suns face Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors at Chase Center in San Francisco — tip-off time is 7 p.m. PT/10 p.m. ET.
