How to maintain your motorcycle during lock-down
Following are few of the tips to maintain your motorcycle
Cleaning :-
Clean your motorcycle with water and dry cloth .
Parking:-
Park the motorcycle in shade or cover it with a motorcycle cover to avoid damage to the paint
Ensure there is no animals or rodents around where you park
Move the motorcycle front and back ones in couple of days to avoid flat spot on your Tyre
Battery:-
Start your motorcycle ones in 5 days and keep it on for 5 minutes or wait till the radiator fans starts
Don’t rev the motorcycle to avoid decolonization of the exhaust
If parked over a week , unplug the negative port of he battery to avoid discharge
Chain:-
Clean the chain and lube the chain to avoid rusting
Cables :-
Apply all cables like clutch , accelerator & brake cables to avoid rusting
