Eprom’s latest album ‘Syntheism’ is a musical experience that showcases a producers dedication to the sonic and visual arts which he self proclaims as “the biggest project of my life”.

The term ‘Syntheism’ also known as ‘Spiritual Atheism’ arises from a dedication to connect more deeply and meaningfully with other human beings. Electronic music innovator Eprom, admired for his dedication to experimenting within the arts has released his latest album ‘Syntheism’; a 14-track ensemble showcasing a creatively driven sound that highlights Eprom’s commitment to experimentation, complex rhythms and breakbeat.

Ten years in the making, ‘Syntheism’ is more than just an album. Set in a “techno-utopian” society, each track is named after an organisation that benefits growth in a world where the collapse of the Akkadian Empire never occurred. This historical homage stands out with ‘Motion Blur’ and ‘Fm VOC 83.35’ both of which provide a visceral experience of experimental synths, fluttering background noise, and top tier production.

In a shower of breakbeats, cut drum samples are a major feature of the album. Pre-released track ‘Untitled Emotional Acid’ and new song ‘Remorse’ highlight this perfectly, with a distinctive electronic melody sitting tentatively on top of the breaks. Production is clean, the drums are tight and the general vibe is awe-inspiringly engrossing.

Set to play a one night only headline show at Denver’s Mission Ballroom, July 29th marks the true birth of ‘Syntheism Robotics’ a representation of Eprom’s dedication to artistic experience that exceeds simply audio. The show encompasses what the album is by providing visual and technological aids alongside the music to stimulate the senses in multiple different ways.

Eprom’s ‘Syntheism’ holds host to a unique narrative, one that breaths depth into his sound by elevating the music beyond just audio. The album provides a raw account of the what the last decade has meant to him, crediting him as more than just a producer, but as an artist.
