Poirier responds to McGregor
“There’s a lot of French and Acadian where I live in Lafayette. My dad speaks fluent French. A lot of the Cajuns in Acadiana came from French-Canada, you know, we got kicked out and relocated to Louisiana.”
Dustin was then asked directly about Conor’s tweet.
“Yeah? Well, he felt that right hook too.”
It seems unlikely to think we’ll get a fourth meeting between Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor. At the same time, it’s the kind of idea that could tempt ‘Notorious’ back into the cage sooner rather than later. Of course, Poirier’s priority is likely going to be going after the lightweight crown – but this is a rivalry that never got an overly satisfying ending.
