Devlin Links With Ed Sheeran On ‘The Great British Bar Off’

Seminal UK rapper Devlin links with Ed Sheeran on new single ‘The Great British Bar Off’.

The new single was teased on socials over the past week, a high profile return from the rapper. The release follows Devlin’s highly-acclaimed release with Chip, and comes ahead of his incoming album, simply titled ‘James Devlin’.

The single is a full circle moment, with Devlin and Ed Sheeran combining to salute the life and work of Jamal Edwards MBE. In a neat twist, the release is supported by SBTV, the platform Jamal founded and lead to huge success.

Both artists owe a huge debt to Jamal, and ‘The Great British Bar Off’ is a fun, but sometimes moving, salute. Devlin says: “Me and Ed back-to-back on this one feels nostalgic, a lot of fun to write and a homage to Jamal Edwards.”

The video is out now, and it takes Devlin back to the site of his breakout F64 clip, recorded for SBTV over a decade ago.
