David Holmes, bdrmm, Richard Norris Contribute To Andy Bell’s ‘I Am A Strange Loop’

Andy Bell has shared new project ‘I Am A Strange Loop’.

The ever-productive guitarist and producer is on a solo tip right now, with his second album ‘Flicker’ landing on Sonic Cathedral back in February.

Earning widespread plaudits, Andy Bell completed a run of festival engagements with shoegaze legends Ride, before returning to his solo endeavours.

Opening out the stems, he’s recruited some fascinating remixes and re-workings for new project ‘I Am A Strange Loop’. Guests include soundtrack expert David Holmes, Mute aligned electronic artist Maps, Claude Cooper, noise rock outfit A Place To Bury Strangers, and wonderful newgen shoegaze acts bdrmm.

Out now, the project is accompanied by a specially commissioned video for David Holmes’ trippy excursion on ‘The Sky Without You’ – shot by French director Jean de Oliveira, you can find it below.
