Trinidad dancehall star Boy Boy unite with UK spitter BackRoad Gee on ‘BOUNCE’.

The two have unique backgrounds, working in two completely different fields. Yet the diasporic pathways run deep, affording them an incredible sense of cultural crossover.

Boy Boy hails from Trinidad, and he’s made his mark on dancehall; BackRoad Gee meanwhile picks up on aspects of grime, and UK rap more generally, itself informed by the Caribbean pulse.

Produced by Joffstar (Pa Salieu, Stefflon Don, Belly Squad) and Joe Gosling (FLO, Chris Brown, KSI), new single ‘Bounce’ is a summer sizzler, a track perfectly built for carnival season. The red-hot sonic template provides the perfect base for the two to go to war, sparring and pushing each other to greater heights.
