Dominique Fishback
Dominique Fishback is going from Swarm to Cinderella on the 2023 Emmys red carpet as she sparkled in a bejeweled dress. The actress is nominated for her lead role as Dre in Prime Video’s Swarm.
Giancarlo Esposito
Giancarlo Esposito is all about main character energy — the actor pulled up with a wine-colored suit and matching top hat as he took a silly picture with his son on the red carpet, who was holding up a sign with his name and posed as if he were Jiminy Cricket. Better Call Saul is up for Outstanding Drama Series tonight.
Laverne Cox
At Monday’s Emmys, the gorgeous Laverne Cox strutted in a leathery, black vintage Thierry Mugler Sirene dress from 1989 that delivered some Batwoman energy. She wore her hair up in an Ariana Grande-style ponytail… Is she in her “Yes, And?” era?
Dan Harmon Twerks for Ken and Tran Jeong
Wait, are the City Girls in the building, because Ken Harmon thinks it’s time for the twerkulator. The Rick and Morty co-creator showed off his ass-shaking dance moves as comedian Ken Jeong and his wife Tran posed for photos on the red carpet. (Those orchids on Tran’s dress are gorgeous.)
Joy Sunday
It’s never too early in the year to rock all white. Wednesday star Joy Sunday stunned on the red carpet as she posed for photos in a white pantsuit with a matching cape. Her show is up for 12 nods tonight.
Adam DiMarco
The first papi has arrived on the red carpet — Canadian heartthrob Adam DiMarco wore his beautiful smile and a simple tux as he arrived at the awards show, where The White Lotus is nominated for Outstanding Drama Series. Today, we’re rooting for everybody sexy.
Joel Kim Booster and John Michael Kelly
Make the Emmys gay, yes! Fire Island‘s Joel Kim Booster shared a big smooch with his boyfriend John Michael Kelly as they posed for photos on the red carpet. (Booster sported a dark chocolate-colored suit, while Kelly went the classic all-black route.) We hope to see another kiss during the telecast if Booster wins the award for Outstanding Writing for a Limited Series.
Padma Lakshmi
Padma Lakshmi is gorgeous in green! She walked the red carpet in an olive green dress alongside her daughter Krishna. Lakshmi’s show, Top Chef, is nominated for Outstanding Reality Competition Program at the Emmys. Last night, she took home the trophy for Best Show Host at the Critics Choice Awards.
Bobby Berk
It’s Bobby Berk’s first Emmys without the Fab Five by his side. Berk — who announced he was leaving Queer Eye after the next season — wore a perfectly fitted suit as he rocked a Backstreet Boys-esque look with his slicked-up hair and groomed beard.
Sheryl Lee Ralph
Yes, diva! Last year, Sheryl Lee Ralph was awarded the trophy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series — and she’s up for the award again. The Abbott Elementary star looked elegant in a cream Siriano dress. “White and cream is the color of the evening here!” she told People and EW. “The fact that we get to glam up and show off our best to the world, our audiences — is the best gift.”
Quinta Brunson
Ooh, are the wrinkles on this dress intentional? We’re typically fans of Quinta Brunson’s red carpet looks, but Monday’s pink dress seems like a simplistic miss. She skipped the accessories and paired the hot pink dress with nude-colored shoes. Brunson is up for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for the second year in a row for her role in Abbott Elementary. Last year, she won the Emmy for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series for the show she created.
Niecy Nash and Jessica Betta
Lesbian queens! Niecy Nash rocked a gorgeous dress with flared black sleeves as she was all-smiles while holding hands with her partner Jessica Betts, who rocked an all-black, suede suit. Nash is up for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series for Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.
Ayo Edebiri
Wow. Ayo Edebiri looks gorgeous in a leathery black dress with a simple, elegant necklace. It’s a big day for Edebiri, who’s nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role as Syndey in The Bear.
‘Drag Race’ Queens
Now this is a gorgeous cast (well, and Princess Poppy in that alien look). Twelve of the RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 15 queens — (from left) reigning queen Sasha Colby, twins Spice and Sugar, Malaysia BabyDoll Fox, Irene the Alien, Robin Fierce, Luxx Noir London, Jax, Princess Poppy, Marcia Marcia Marcia, Aura Mayari, and Salia EsTitties — posed for reunion photos on the red carpet, nearly a year after their season aired on MTV. The show’s up for Outstanding Reality Competition Program.
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker
We love a pantsuit-wearing couple. Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker exchanged smiles while appearing in all-black as they posed for photos on the Emmys red carpet. They basically wore the same outfit and shades, except Kourt showed a bit of cleavage, of course!
Ali Wong
Oh… that’s not working. We’re not sure who chose this outfit for Ali Wong, but what were they thinking? The comedian wore a multi-colored, multi-textured dress that simply did not land. The top half is like a mesh with silver jewels, and then it has a flowery, royal blue bottom half. Yikes.
Jennifer Coolidge
OK we’ll say it: MOTHER! Jennifer Coolidge is celebrating the success of The White Lotus in a lacy, black dress while rocking her hair in a gorgeous bun. She looks elegant and stunning — and she might take home an award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series thanks to her role as Tanya.
Anthony Anderson
The host with the most swag! We hope Anthony Anderson learned a lesson from Golden Globes host Jo Koy, who had a rough go during the Globes. Hopefully Anderson took some time to craft some well-thought-out jokes for his hosting duties tonight. At least on the red carpet, Anderson looked handsome in a classic tux emblazoned with colorful flowers on its sleeves.
Ariana DeBose Hannah Waddingham
The true meaning of girl power! Ariana DeBose and Hannah Waddingham were posing for photos alongside each other, and the Ted Lasso star helped fix part of DeBose’s outfit during a sweet red carpet moment.
Donald Glover is a handsome king with an out-of-box look on the red carpet, where he rocked some flower-embellished black pants with a velvet jacket and low-cut back shirt as he posed for photos. The singer-actor is nominated for his writing on Swarm, thanks to episode “Stung” from the Prime Video series.
Colman Domingo and Kim Dickens
Colman Domingo has been delivering some of the most elegant looks for men on the red carpet. The actor wore an elegant suit with a pearl-adorned pin and a gorgeous white shirt. He beamed on the red carpet as he posed for photos with Kim Dickens.
Issa Rae
Issa Rae radiated light and beauty on the Emmys red carpet in a feathery, crystal-embellished champagne Pamela Roland gown.
Jenna Ortega
Pastel and florals are in season, and Jenna Ortega sure tapped in with a greenish-gray flowy dress. Today at the Emmys, she’s nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for playing the titular character in Wednesday and made history as the second-youngest nominee in her category since Patty Duke.
Alan Ruck
Indigo king Alan Ruck is up for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series thanks to his role as Connor Roy in Succession. On the red carpet he rocked a royal blue outfit with his salt-and-pepper hair slicked back, and a silver mermaid-emblazoned cane. “I felt like I had to bring it! It’s a security blanket too,” he told People. “It’s the awards show of damaged goods!”
Elizabeth Debicki
Befitting the royal she portrayed in The Crown, Princess Diana, Elizabeth Debicki went sleek and elegant in a classic Dior short sleeve velvet gown for her walk down the Emmys red carpet. Debicki is up for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her portrayal of the late people’s princess.
