It has a neat early 90s flavour…

Crumb have shared new single ‘Dust Bunny’.

The band’s spectral psych-pop thrives on atmosphere, their gift for melody continually catching you unawares. Across their catalogue Crumb have delivered neat about-turns and bold twists, including 2021’s ‘Ice Melt’.

Recently signalling their return with ‘Crushxd’, the band now inject their colourful palette with crisp digital percussion. The use of breakbeats recalls those early 90s indie-dance jams, but its otherworldly appeal puts Clash in mind of Unknown Mortal Orchestra.

It’s a riveting song in its own right, with ‘Dust Bunny’ presenting Crumb at their most alluring. A deft group performance, it comes as Crumb prepare to headline Austin Psych Fest this weekend – catch them at Pitchfork London in November.
